    "Passing the Malaysia Nursing Board Examination is a prerequisite. However, for the issuance of a Temporary Practising Certificate to practice in Malaysia, CANDIDATES MUST FULLFILL THE EMPLOYMENT CRITERIA FOR FOREIGN TRAINED NURSES"

    "The application for a Temporary Practicing Certificate shall be submitted within a period of three (3) years after passing the Malaysia Nursing Board Examination."

Requirements for examination application

  1. The candidate must be between 27 and 55 years old (clinical area).
  2. The candidate must be between 27 and 60 years old (nursing education).
  3. The candidate must be a registered nurse.
  4. The candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical working experience for Degree in Nursing and a minimum of five (5) years for Diploma in Nursing (clinical area).
  5. The candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of clinical working experience (nursing education).
